PAM HOGG AW10

Siouxsie Sioux was first out at Pam Hogg's FW10 show! Such a nice surprise. And looking as sexy as ever. She was the soundtrack for my adolescent years. So kool. I wish my own mom (or grandma) could be this kool ...

Charlie Mindu AW10/11

I’m so happy to see avant-guardian Charlie Mindu growing a fan-base. As always, he brings surrealist haute-coiffure to new “boundary-pushing” heights. The aesthetics for his FW10 collection seems to have taken on a gothic vibe inspired by religious mysteries, the occult and black magic.

Lady Gaga's new preview stills

New Stills From Lady GaGa's upcoming video for her new single “Telephone” featuring amazing hat from Fred Butler. I’m guessing the hair piece is from Charlie Mindu.

RIP ALEXANDER MCQUEEN 1969-2010

The death of the British fashion icon is a huge loss and a sad day for fashion. It’s extremely heartbreaking to see someone who has bestowed upon us with so much beauty and could be so torn at the same time. McQueen was a fashion legend whose drama will continue to inspire for many years to come. Rest in peace Alexander McQueen

Romain Kremer (Fall 2010)

Romain Kremer is always constructing Futuristic clothes for the modern man. It is always original and fresh. Romain Kremer talks about his Fall 2010 collection, as going from "natural, to plastic, from cotton to PVC". Structured outerwear in off-white, fluorescent red, and peppermint green are the rigueur for next fall. He talks of a world that has become "flat" in its perspective. He's trying to bring 3-D to a world that has become flat. One facet that remains constant is his playful wit between the accessible and the inspiring. Forever challenging ideas of acceptable fashion.

Romain Kremer may just be ahead of his time. The world has still not caught up to him. Do you think the world is ready for him?
